This article by Nan Goldin was very fascinating! It’s not
often that I can be emerged into this type of world and it really was quite
enjoyable to read about. I find it so interesting how these people are able to
just not care what society thinks and be themselves no matter what it takes. It
really takes courage to do something like that. I also love how much drive Nan
Goldin had with her work and how she had such high goals as to get these queens
on the cover of Vogue and then to actually find out later that yes, some of
them had made it into Vogue. The passion that she has for these people is just
absolutely amazing and I really loved reading about it. She says that she was
infatuated by them when she first saw them crossing the bridge and I would
believe it based on the way she describes her feelings towards them and the
experiences they shared together.
