Textbooks:
You're right, the Co-op did not order the Liz Wells, Photography: A Critical History 4th ed OR Liz Heron and Val Williams, Illuminations: Women Writing on Photography from the 1850s to the Present. They are being ordered, but you are welcome to locate and purchase online to expedite.
In the meantime, the Liz Wells book is on 3-hour reserve at the Babbidge library; Illuminations should be on reserve there soon as well.
The Coop is not confident it can get in the Wells books, so I recommend seeking other options, e.g.,
http://www.amazon.com/Photography-Critical-Introduction-Liz-Wells/dp/0415460875
UConn Reads text, The Omnivore's Dilemma is available at the UConn trade bookstore at the Towne Center and is available to UConn students at a discount. You are welcome to use the Kindle version of this text for reading and note taking, but it will not be permissible to access the electronic version in class.
